LORE
INTRODUCTION
Gila, a female Scalorean, is a member of the Golden Warriors within the Scalorean tribe. She is known as “the eleventh missing member.
APPEARANCE AND CHARACTER
Like all Scaloreans, Gila is covered in green scales with humanoid limbs. Her face is reptilian, especially her cold-blooded eyes. She typically wears the Golden Warriors’ uniform, with her upper body covered in symbolic blue war paint. In the eyes of other Scaloreans, Gila is beautiful.
Gila worships the ancient gods of the Scaloreans and is dedicated to achieving the greatest goal of her ancestors: ruling other races. Loyal only to her own race, Gila uses her fierce combat skills to brutalize their enemies.
HISTORY
The Scaloreans live in swamps and jungles, with their history stretching back to the early ages of civilization on the Armada Continent.
The disappearance of the gods did not affect the Scaloreans like it did other groups on Armuda. Scaloreans continued to practice the ways of their ancestors, including their language, which was passed down from a legendary dragon.
Scaloreans refuse to have contact with the outside world. If any outsider dared to enter the Scaloreans’ domain, they would be taken prisoner-or even killed. The Scaloreans detested the rapid growth of the outside world, and vowed to one day take over the other races; the Golden Warriors were formed for this cause.
There are eleven members in the Golden Warriors, each one strong and fierce. These warriors are responsible for overtaking other races and have a high status within their own tribe. As a member of the elite team, Gila lived a glorious life of power-until one fateful dayten years ago, when a group of outsiders were allowed passage through the Scalorean swamp.
The outsiders were polite, and their sweet words charmed many members of the tribe. It seemed this group agreed with the Scalorean cause, and wanted to help them take over Armada. The Scaloreans made an exception for them, allowing them to enter their territory and even exchanging gifts with them.
Gila, however, believed they must have ulterior motives. She snuck into their camp the night before they were going to leave, and discovered that they did not come to help the Scaloreans-rather, they had stolen treasures from the swamp, disguised as gifts. Before Gila could tell her tribe, she was seized and imprisoned by the mages of the group. They locked her in a magical, impenetrable cage. At dawn, they left the swamp-taking Gila and the Scalorean treasures with them.
For ten years, no one heard from Gila. The Scaloreans mourned her disappearance. Out of respect for her, the Golden Warriors refused to let another fill her vacancy and instead dubbed her “the missing eleventh member.
During those long years Gila was humiliated and tortured. They refused to kill this precious Scalorean because every inch ofher skin had research value. Finally, after enduring over a decade of torture, Gila took a rare opportunity to escape the cage. She murdered those that had imprisoned her, one by one, fashioning their bones into flutes.
Quickly after her escape, the group sent out bounty notices on Gila. She walked back to the swamp alone, not knowing how many adversaries she would soon face.
