Kathos Magnum Quest is the first hero in the game from the Abyss faction. The heroes of this faction, as well as the Divinity faction, are very difficult to collect, since there are no separate faction calls for them. The only place where you can get 100% of them is the Shop – the “Ladder” section, but you will need a large number of “Dragon Heart Blood” coins.
Kathos is a tank character and very useful in PvP battles with silence effect. He has very high levels of health and protection.
Note the description for skill “Searing Whip of Hell” – “… and this enemy cannot be revived”. That is, in the future we can expect heroes who will be able to resurrect fallen heroes.
Roar of Horror [Lv.3]
Katos inflicts the [burn] and the [silence] effects upon all enemies for 6 seconds, which deals 60% ATTACK damage per second and renders them unable to use any skills. The effects of this skill cannot be dispersed
LV2 (101 lvl): The [burn] effect damage increases to 75% ATTACK per second, the duration of the [burn] and the [silence] effects increases to 8 seconds
LV3 (201 lvl): When the [silence] effect wears out, it deals 150% ATTACK damage to the enemies and reduces their Energy by 160 points
Shield of Fire [Lv.4]

LV3 (126 lvl): When the [shield] is up, it deals 50% ATTACK damage to all surrounding enemies each second
LV4 (226 lvl): The [shield] increases to 600% of Katos’ ATTACK, the damage dealt each second increases to 75% ATTACK
Unholy Assault [Lv.3]

Searing Whip of Hell [Lv.3]
Katos cannot be revived once he falls in battle. Upon his death, if there are enemy heroes, boss excluded, with less than 30% HP on the battlefield, a searing whip shows up and drags the enemy hero with the lowest HP percentage into the abyss, and this enemy cannot be revived.
LV2 (176 lvl): If no enemy hero fits the criteria, this skill targets the enemy hero with the lowest HP percentage and deals damage equal to 30% of its max HP, which caps at 30% of Katos’ max HP
LV3 (276 lvl): The percentage of enemy HP required to trigger the whip’s fatal strike increases to 50%. If no enemy hero fits the criteria, the damage dealt increases to 50% of the target’s max HP, which caps at 50% of Katos’ max HP
Kathos is an ambiguous hero, on the one hand, his abilities depend on ATK. On the other hand, he has support and survival skills and high initial defense.
We believe that the hero will bring the greatest usefulness precisely in the role of a tank, so we recommend leveling him in the direction of the defensive attributes.
We give universal recommendations on attributes and skills for a hero. For example, if you already have a 50% chance of crit, then you should choose another characteristic in the branch of the Starmap.

Katos is a Balrog summoned by the Depraved God from the deepest pit before he waged the war of conquest to Armada. Tempted by the power of the Oracle Tablet, Katos made a deal with the Depraved God and became his loyal ally. After the Depraved God was sealed, their summon contract was automatically ceased. Without the power for his subsistence in Armada, Katos had to go back to the deepest pit.
APPEARANCE AND CHARACTER
The true identity of Katos is an unextinguished fire, though most of the time he appears as a giant demon with curved horns on his head. Over his full body are the hot flowing lavas. On his back, there is a pair of rock-hard wings covered by dense barbs. Katos’s guile and wit is often veiled by his rude and ruthless behaviors. He knows it clearly that an ally must be left alive, at least until their deal is closed; otherwise, who is going to pay him the rewards?
The last time Katos came to Armuda, it was before the War of Deities.
After stealing the Oracle tablet, the Depraved God was plotting a conquest war in the Armuda. Realized that he would not stand a chance by fighting alone, he summoned a puissant demon from the Bottomless Pit. The Depraved God gave him the name Katos.
Katos was completely overwhelmed by the undiluted and powerful energy of the Oracle tablet that derived from the Creator Deity. Driven by his greedy instinct as a demon, he risked everything to ally with the Depraved God.
The first mission for him was bringing darkness and death to the lives on the ground. Staying in a world not meant for the demons, Katos’s strength was largely constraines. Aweakened Balrog certainly would not gratify the Depraved God. To show his loyalty, Katos offered to steal the Magical Gemstone of the elves, which could help him temporally recover his full power.
Elves are cherished by God and bestowed with extraordinary talents. They have such a strong and pure faith in god that even their territory reeks of a holy atmosphere, a solemnity unbearable to demons. Katos lurked in the forest of elves for quite a while. The plan itself had made him pathologically excited, and he even forgot the sickness caused by the surroundings. His chance finally came in the night of lunar eclipse. When the King of Elves fell asleep, he stole the magical gemstone.
Nobody ever knows what exactly the Depraved God had promised to offer for Katos’s alliance. Nevertheless, given the Proclivity of the demons towards wars and violence, and their instinct to follow where the power leads, it is not hard to see why Katos decided to accept the deal, even there would be price to pay.
With the power of the magical gemstone, Katos gave full play to his abilities in the conquest war waged by the Depraved God. He was too powerful and unstoppable. The dark army finally conquered each inch of Armuda. The continent was falling.
In the later War of Deities, the Depraved God was sealed and the oracle tablet was also crushed. Without the support of the summon contract, Katos disappeared from the continent.
Rumor says that Katos is back to Armada recently through some ineffable means. However, according to the investigation, he hasn’t recovered his full strength.

I’m impressed, I must say. Rarely do I come across a blog that’s equally educative and entertaining, and without a doubt, you’ve hit the nail on the head. I’m very happy that I came across this in my hunt for something concerning this.
