Destined Demise [Lv.3]

Merciless calamities shall befall upon you!
The Demon Prophet chants for 3 seconds, then deals to the target pure damage equal to 27% of its max HP (when attacking bosses, he deals pure damage equal to 27% of his own max HP). He is immune to all control spells while chanting. The Demon Prophet makes three prophecies at the beginning of each battle. Each time a prophecy is fulfilled, he summons an imp to the battlefield that can mimic him to carry out normal attacks and use his Ultimate Skill.

LV2: The imps can mimic their master and use a lesser version of his skill [Demonic Vitalization], which deals 120% ATK of M. DMG to the target.
LV3: The imps can mimic their master and use a lesser version of his skill [Evil Blessings], which inflicts the [vulnerate] effect upon the target and raises its DMG intake by 15% for 3
seconds.

Demonic Vitalization [Lv.4]

The Demon Prophet makes his first prophecy: Cause less conflict will arise.
Conditions for fulfillment: Apart from the Demon Prophet, three heroes have activated their Ultimate Skills in the battle.
The Demon Prophet picks out the target with the highest ENERGY (excluding himself),  deals M. DMG equal to 120% of its ATK to it and restores its ENERGY by 66 points. If the prophecy is fulfilled, this skill will only affect the enemies and will drain their ENERGY instead of restoring it.

LV2: The DMG dealt increases to 180% of the target’s ATK.
LV3: If the prophecy is fulfilled, the intensity of the skill effects inflicted upon the enemies will double.
LV4: The DMG dealt increases to 240% of the target’s ATK, the ENERGY altered increases to 99 points.

Evil Blessings [Lv.3]

The Demon Prophet makes his second prophecy: Nameless horror will spread.
Conditions for fulfillment: Apart from the Demon Prophet, three heroes have been affected by control spells.
The Demon Prophet picks out the target with the lowest HP percentage (excluding himself), raises its ATK SPD by 15% and inflicts the [vulnerate] effect upon it which raises its DMG intake by 15% for 3 seconds. After that, the target suffers the [stun] effect for 3 seconds. If the prophecy is fulfilled, this skill will only affect the enemies and will not raise their ATK SPD.

LV2: If the prophecy is fulfilled, the intensity of the [vulnerate] effect inflicted upon the enemies will double.
LV3: ATK SPD raised and the intensity of the [vulnerate] effect both increase to 30%.

Devitalization [Lv.3]

The Demon Prophet makes his third prophecy: Fearless warriors will fall.
Conditions for fulfillment: Apart from the Demon Prophet, three heroes have fallen in battle.
All heroes (excluding himself) receive 18% less healing and loses 0.6% of their max HP each second. If the prophecies fulfilled, this skill will only affect the enemies.

LV2: If the prophecy is fulfilled, the intensity of the skill effects inflicted upon the enemies will double.
LV3: All heroes (excluding himself) receive 36% less healing and loses 1.2% of their max HP each second.

LORE

INTRODUCTION

[The Elder] is one of the demons that have walked the face of the earth since the ancient times, but he never gained much popularity until the recent eon, hence was titled [the Ancient Upstart] by his fellow demon overlords. His true name had been long lost in the course of time, but he himself became idolized by [the Grey Robe Book Club]. He often reveals himself with the company of a black full moon, and his crimson-skinned imp servants under his command.

APPEARANCE AND CHARACTER

[The Elder] has three arms, and all three hands are filthy red as if they have blood stains that never washes off. The enormous black wings on his lower back are dotted with rubies, and the flames from the Fathomless  Abyss glow in his eyes. There’s something rather curious about the three skulls hung on his beard. They love to chatter and crack jokes, and are often found tentatively conversing on a topic as if no one’s around, until begrudgingly falling to silence when shouted at by their master. [The Elder] has gained much popularity in the surface world, but he rarely gets in contact with the humans, and hardly paid any attention to his worshipers.

HISTORY

As the last war came to an end, the whole continent entered an era of peaceful development. All factions and races began to prosper. It was around this time that the Grey Robe Book Club started to show its trace all around the world.

They often wear grey robes with slack hoods, and under each hood, there’s a head top that is cleanly shaven. These people are often dressed like monks, and each holds a wordless book in red cover. Piecing together the fragments of their testimonies, it is known that they worship a demon prophet from the Fathomless Abyss. And it is said that whenever the black moon hangs in the sky, the wordless books would reveal the prophecies by the demon prophet.

It is believed by these people that the gods have abandoned all surface-dwelling creatures, and only the demons may save the world from future cataclysms. To prove their devotion, they built altars, recruited new members, and branded themselves with markings related to [the Elder], making them a commonly  recognizable symbol to the world.

The Grey Robe Book Club has brought [the Elder] much fame, but he didn’t seem to care.

In the Unfathomable Abyss, each demon overlord has his own territory resembling a nation or a realm, which presents itself in a way the lord pleases. [The Elder] is no exception, but he rarely returns to his territory. Some say he had glimpsed the will of the king of the gods, hence was sieged by other demon lords and sent on a forced exile. Others say he rarely returns to the Unfathomable Abyss because he had already lost interest in the place.

Regardless of whether is true, it is certain that he does walk the face of the earth, which makes his worshipers feel closer to him – even though he never interfered with what goes on in this world, nor did he care about his worshippers’ actions.

He did once visit the White Tower, in an attempt of a mysterious exchange, during which the White Tower master discovered that the red book he carried with him recorded the first chapter of what was carved on the Oracle Tablet.

The Oracle Tablet was destroyed when the first dark war was won, so how was he able to obtain the rubbings of the lost text? And how could a demon hold god s words in his hand without getting burned? These mysteries remain unsolved to this day.
