INTRODUCTION
Hista, a lioness, has an amazing gift for language. In her youth she was sent by her tribe to the human city for cultural exchange. Although Hista had a deep prejudice gainst humans, she slowlychanged her mind after witnessing the kindness of a child.
APPEARANCE AND CHARACTER
Hista is a healthy lioness with a curvy figure, a face, and bright red hair. Even while living in the human city, Hista prefered to dress in her tribal clothing.
When she lived with the wild tribe, Hista was arrogant and cruel. She looked down upon the inferior humand believed in only showing respect to the strong. Later, as she was influenced by the kind humans around her, Hista gradually shed her brutish nature and attempted to understand other peoples.
HISTORY
The wild tribe where Hista grew up was relatively open to interaction with other races; however, they did not respect those they deemed weak. According to the tribe, the strong were powerful, and the weak were merely prey. Because Hista had lived in that environment for so long, she had a deep contempt for humans-the weakest species. Hista could never understand why humans, small and feeble, were so widely respected in Armuda.
As Hista got older, her talent in language gained the attention of the tribe. Some of her friends, who also had a gift for language, were sent to different tribes for cultural exchange. When it was time for Hista to leave as well, she washocked to learn she would be going to the human city.
Hista resented the tribe for a long time for their decision. Immediately upon her arrival in the human city, she attracted attention for the wrong reasons; her different appearance meant strangers would stare at her as she passed, which only served to exacerbate her aversion to humans. Hista refused to come into contact with anyone, proudly maintaining her tribal lifestyle while ignoring everyone else. She passed her days alone, anxiously awaiting for the tribe to call her back.
One day when Hista was walking home, she caught the attertion of a child, who stared at her from his doorway. Her disgust finally boiled over. She angrily stormed up to the child with her axe in hand, prepared to teach this stupid human a lesson. At first, the child recoiled in fear. Then, surprisingly, he smiled at this beautiful lion woman. He took a piece of candy from his pocket and offered it to her. Hista was touched-for once, a human had shown her kindness. The child’s pure heart and trust moved her. Since that experience, Hista began to change her mind about humans.
Hista realized that humans, although not the strongest species, use what they have to help the weak. Humans are inclusive to others. They are hardworking and creative. Although they can sometimes betray each other, they more often help each other. Hista discovered that humans are dedicated to creating a better life, which was different from her previounderstanding of strength. The more she got to know the humans around her, the more she became infatuated with them as a species.
Finally, it was time for the tribe to call Hista back. A dark force was sweeping across Armuda, and the tribe would need to gather every last ounce of strength to fight against the impending disaster. Despite her reluctance to leave the humans, Hista knew she had to go back to serve her tribe. She looked forward to the day when she could fight side by side with the human race-and with the dark forces approaching, she knew that moment was not far away.
