Manton Guide
Description
Manton is the Wild Centaur Warrior of Magnum Quest. A melee hero, but thanks to the spear that he throws, he can inflict damage on the back row of enemies. In terms of efficiency, the hero is rather weak in all directions of the game.
The attack of all Guild Bosses looks in such a way that for the first minute of the battle, until the boss accelerates, all characters from the player’s side receive almost no damage. And then they either die the next second or the next wave of boss damage. Skill 4 and half of Manton’s second skill effect will hardly be applied on bosses.
Also, the character does not have healing and invulnerability, and his only serious plus is the cut of 50% of the armor, but this is not enough for him to stand on a par with Ares, Feng or Gila on the Guild Bosses.

INTRODUCTION
Manton lives a nomadic life in the prairie with his clansmen. When the prairie was contaminated by dark force, he escorted Dora, an agent from the League of Moonlight, to get out of the prairie. Their evacuation was interrupted several times because of the ambushes of the assassins. He almost died as he tasted for Dora the poisoned wine given by a caravan as a present. Thanks to Manton’s knowledge on nature, they finally left the prairie.
APPEARANCE AND CHARACTER
Manton often appears with his upper body naked, showing his brown skin tone as a typical nomadic centaur. His right shoulder is tattooed with a tribal totem. His thick chunky build is impressively attractive, while his grim, rough-hewed features give him an image as a warrior not to be trifled with. His weapon is a long spear.
As his clansmen, Manton enjoys the boundless lifestyle in the prairie. He is born to be a nomad, moving from a place to another all his life to pursue the true freedom. He is particularly observant and vigilant of any potential danger around him.
HISTORY
Centaurs spend most of the time in a year in the prairie in South Armuda that boasts fertile soil and tall coarse grasses. They cling to their traditional lifestyle, living apart from the hustle and bustle of the city. Manton is one of the most revered warriors in the prairie.
One day, the lake water in the prairie was contaminated, and a number of centaurs who had drunk the toxic water fell badly sick. Angry Manton could not stand idly by while his clansmen were suffering and losing their lives. He sworn to find out the person who poisoned the water. Though Manton was not clear who exactly was behind it, he and his troop marched overnight to the territory of their nemesis, goblins. When they arrived, they were shocked by corpse-strewn scene in goblins’ tribe. Obviously, goblins had nothing to do with the poison conspiracy. Worse even than the situation in the Centaurs’ territory, both the water and grass there were contaminated.
Manton did not have a clue about who had plotted these horrible events, yet he did realize that the enemy they were facing was much more dangerous than expected. Not long after, the massage sent by an agent from the League of Moonlight, Dora, confirmed his instinct. According to Dora, the poisoning incidents were possibly related to a dark force. Whoever was behind, their enemy was unimaginably powerful, and all races should unite to fight against it.
Centaurs hate wars. They had never been involved in any dispute in the Continent. Neither would they ever want to engage in any. They remained dubious about Dora’s suggestion, even though many of their clansmen survived the poisoning thanks to the consummate medical skills of Dora. Manton found it a bit hard to credit what Dora had said, but he trusted his own judgement. He made a significant order that all the centaurs must evacuate the prairie before the grass was contaminated.
Dora could not keep pace with the evacuated centaurs. In order to protect her, Manton led an elite squad to escort her. Several assassins lurked on the way, attempting to ambush them, and Manton vigilantly prevented all the attacks. As time went on, he became more convinced of the message brought by Dora.
As they were on the point of going out of the prairie, they met a caravan heading into the prairie. Dora was nice enough to tell them to change their way as the prairie had been contaminated. The caravan gave her a bottle of honey wine as a return for her kind advice.
When Dora was about to taste the wine, Manton stopped her and tried it on her behalf. Almost immediately blood poured from his mouth and he passed out from intense pain. The wine was poisoned. The caravan ran away when everyone was busy resuscitating Manton. Dora used her medical skill again to save him and won his trust.
After a few days in recuperation, Manton successfully escorted Dora to a safe place. He has made up his mind to persuade his clansmen to take part in this unavoidable war.
