When people talk about the top 1 character in the game, they often mean exactly that character. Ares Magnum Quest is a tank with huge damage, healing and invulnerability up to 8 seconds. Top-1 character in progress without alternatives, around which most progress teams are built, as well as one of the top picks on all bosses. On some bosses (Shatrol, Bill) instead of Ares, it is optimal to use other characters, but even on them Ares will not be a bad pick (in the later stages of the game, Ares 300 in solo takes the 10th Shatrol). A universal hero that will come in handy in all game modes and in all game modes will one of the best. Very good with Fare, who pulls enemies under Ares’ cluster AoE damage, and Ione, which gives Ares additional invulnerability and the ability to live on the battlefield even longer.
The character can perform part of his functionality without stars.

To understand what characteristics to level up to Ares in the Starmap, you first need to understand what this hero is.
Ares goes more on the offensive and in terms of play style is more related to the class, which in other games is called “Berserker” or “War/Warrior”. If we proceed from the assumption that Ares is a Berserker/Warrior and has an attacking focus, then we propose to level up this direction both in equipment and in everything else.
We give universal recommendations on attributes and skills for a hero. For example, if you already have a 50% chance of crit, then you should choose another characteristic in the branch of the Starmap.

Ares was the most powerful warrior in his orc tribe, swinging his mighty axe with tectonic force. Despite his power, Ares was expelled from his tribe for a felony crime committed by his parents.
Following the expulsion, he moved to the city of Trassvertian to work as a blacksmith. He made a new life for himself, but eventually, he heard word of a massacre committed against his people. He hurried back to find his original tribe slaughtered at the hands of a group led by the Death Knight.
He survived the fateful encounter, and he now travels with a new orc tribe, leaving his life in Trassvertian far behind him.
APPEARANCE AND CHARACTER
Ares is tall and ripped with muscle. He has bushy hair tied in a bunch above his head. He carries a red axe forged from magic metal. Frequent acts of aggression and revenge have left him with deep scars that will never heal. Despite growing up without his mother and father, Ares carries fond memories of his childhood.
He was adopted by an elderly orc who taught him honor and to be a warrior. He still holds true to this ideal, vowing never to betray a loved one.
Ares was only two years old when his parents were executed. They committed an atrocious crime against the orctribe, which scarred their bloodline with eternal shame. Traditionally, no child of sinners would be allowed to stay in the orc tribe. However, because Ares was so young, he was allowed to grow into adulthood before his expulsion. During his youth, he was raised with the utmost care and affection. In time, his adoptive parent trained him in the ways offighting and honor.
It’s custom in the orc tribe for male orcs to attend a ritual when they grow into adulthood. The ritual is a representation of their future as warriors. Ares looked forward to his ceremony, but he wasn’t eligible to participate. Instead of performing in the ritual that night alongside his peers, Ares was permanently expelled from the tribe. For the sins of his parents, Ares was expected to be long gone by morning.
The elderly orc who adopted Ares advised him to try to make a new life in the free and prosperous city of Transversion. All of Armuda knows that anything is possible there. With tears in his eyes, Ares left his orc community behind him. He traveled to Trassvertian and apprenticed with a blacksmithing dwarf. The dwarf taught him how to forge weapons and armor. Under proper guidance, Ares developed his skills. He honed his craft and helped bring in a lot of money to the dwarf’s shop.
Years later, Ares was one of the first to learn of his orc tribe’s slaughter when the shop received a strange shipment of weapons. All of the weapons looked familiar, and Ares eventually realized they had come from his home tribe. It was a conspiracy, and Ares soon learned some of the orcs from his tribe had betrayed the rest. The orcs had partnered with dark forces and massacred the rest of the tribe. After that fateful night, the traitors tried to pawn the tribe’s weapons off at various shops scattered around the continent.
Ares knew he had to go back home. He violated his expulsion and returned to the tribe, hoping to help any potential survivors. Before he left, his dwarfmentor forged him an axe from his treasured supply of magic red metal. The dwarf wished the best for Ares, all while fearing the worst.
By the time Ares arrived, it was far too late. The edges of the tribe were marked with severed heads on pikes. Among the heads was the elderly orc who had adopted Ares, all those years ago. Dead bodies were scattered across the ground. The entire tribe had been mercilessly slaughtered. The only survivors were the traitors, who had already run off with the tribe’s loot. Ares was devastated, furious, and vengeful. He tracked down the traitors and found an unsettling scene. The traitors were traveling amongst the Death Knight, a grave warrior of darkness that rode upon a war horse in heavy armor. Asickle gripped in his hand, the Death Knight was undefeatable. Ares almost didn’t survive the encounter, just barely noticing an emblem on the Death Knights’ armor before he fled into the woods.
Ares knew he had to discover the secret behind the Death Knight’s symbol. It was this symbol that represented the will to slaughter his home tribe. Ares needed support, so he returned to the orcterritory and joined a different, more powerful orctribe. Marching alongside the tribe’s other warriors, Ares carries a bloodthirst for revenge as he relentlessly pursued the truth.
