Cyan

Cyan Guide

Description

Forest Hero Cyan Magnum Quest was introduced in the game on June 1, 2020. All players paid attention to his appearance and drew an analogy with the silver hero Ki’Nik of the same faction.

Mantis Cyan can be called an Assassin, which has a mechanic similar to the hero Carlotta. At the beginning of the battle, he jumps behind the back of the opposite enemy and begins to attack him.

A special feature of the hero can be noted a large amount of DOT damage causing bleeding, which in protracted battles should make at his best.

Thanks to bleeding, he can be safely taken to bosses, where the enemy exists throughout the battle.

Cyan is also suitable for PvP battles, where he can remove an enemy from the battlefield for 3 seconds, as well as constantly decreasing his energy.

Skills

Mantis Abduction [Lv.3]

Cyan ejects his sickles, deals 150% ATTACK damage to the target, and drags it away from the battlefield for 3 seconds. The damage dealt each second equals 120% ATTACK multiplied by the stack count of the [bleed] effect. Should the target get killed during the abduction, Cyan would return to the battlefield immediately and emerge right next to the enemy with the lowest HP. His emergence also lowers all enemies’ ACCURACY by 30 points and ATTACK by 10%. Should the target survive the abduction, Cyan would bring it back to a random location on the left half of the battlefield.

LV2 (101 lvl): After being brought back to the battlefield, the enemy target is unable to receive any healing effects for 6 seconds.
LV3 (201 lvl): After returning to the battlefield, Cyan’s consequent attack lands a critical hit on the target and stacks the [bleed] effect 3 times on it.

Mantis Sabre [Lv.4]

All of Cyan’s attacks inflict the [bleed] effect upon the targets, which deals 20% ATTACK damage each second for 10 seconds and can stack up 5 times. When the [bleed] effect has stacked up 3 times on a target, its ATTACK is lowered by 20%, its damage intake increases by 10%, and it loses 20 points of ENERGY each second for 10 seconds.

LV2 (26 lvl): The [bleed] effect deals 30% ATTACK damage each second.
LV3 (126 lvl): 50% of the target’s lost ENERGY is transferred to Cyan.
LV4 (226 lvl): 100% of the target’s lost ENERGY is transferred to Cyan.

Rabid Assault [Lv.3]

By exploiting the enemy’s weakness, Cyan gains a 25% chance of launching two consecutive normal attacks to the target while ignoring its 50% DEFENSE and interrupting its actions.

LV2 (151 lvl): The number of possible consecutive attacks increases to 3.
LV3 (251 lvl): The target doesn’t gain any ENERGY from Cyan’s additional attacks.

Stab of Gale [Lv.3]

At the beginning ofeach battle, Cyan blinks behind the enemy target in the mirrored position and stabs it with a dagger, dealing 150% ATTACK damage as well as inflicting the [stun] effect upon it for 2 seconds. In the following 12 seconds, Cyan has a 25% chance to [block] incoming attacks.

LV2 (176 lvl): Everytime Cyan blocks an attack, the damage dealt by his following attack increases by 20%.
LV3 (276 lvl): The chance for Cyan to [block] enemy attacks increases to 35%.

Starmap

Introduction

Cyan is an attacking hero rogue. Thanks to his skill, he can disappear from the battlefield for a while, while causing damage to the enemy.

In the starmap, you should level up attacking characteristics, like any Damage Dealer.

We give universal recommendations on attributes and skills for a hero. For example, if you already have a 50% chance of crit, then you should choose another characteristic in the branch of the Starmap.

LORE

INTRODUCTION

Cyan was a member of the League of Moonlight. During his service, he substantially contributed to the consolidation of the League’s influence in Armuda. After his sudden disappearance, his name became a taboo of the League. Even his young nephew Ki’Nik, who also joined the League later, failed multiple attempts to find out his secrets.

APPEARANCE AND CHARACTER

When Cyan was serving the League of Moonlight, he had a normal brown skin. He had a fairly easygoing character and always smiled to others. The poisoning incident completely transformed his physical appearance. His skin turned into a weird blue color and his compound eyes became pearl white. On his arms, the flows of blood beneath the skin are visible. After the poisoning incident, Cyan always wraps himself under a huge mage robe and avoid socializing with people.

Cyan has great leadership skills. Once he makes up his mind, he would stay the course. When Ki’Nik was young, Cyan was his personal hero.

HISTORY

Since its inception, the League of Moonlight has established its role and mission to safeguard the nature and peace of the Continent. Before the accession of Cyan, the League was barely known despite its long history, because it had never been involved in any conflict in Armuda. Cyan brought the real strength of the League into the spotlight. The League grew stronger with his contribution and eventually gained its foothold on the continent.

Not long after the League consolidated its influence in Armuda, a kind of mysterious stones were found near the forest. Carved with an ancient pattern that no one had ever seen, the stones have such an unknown magic power that any ordinary weapon or armor forged by it would be endowed with unprecedented force.

These unidentified stones broke the precedent balance of the nature, which alerted the League of Moonlight to the imminent dangers they could induce. The League found no way to track whether the stones had been traded externally. Whatever the quantity, if any of them fell into the wrong hands, the consequence would be catastrophic.

The league then reached a consensus in a confidential meeting that they would keep quiet about the stones. At the same time a secret investigation was started immediately. In the following few years, agents and resources had been invested on the issue, but the progress remained negligible. The whole investigation dead-ended on a dangerous black witch.

Just when the League was hesitated on whether the investigation be continued, Cyan took over the work. Immediately, he cut offall relationship with the League of Moonlight and disappeared into a newidentity. He disguised himselfand followed the black witch to Fairhaven, the citadel of mages.

In Fairhaven, Cyan had tried to take every precaution he could, but this excessive caution was exploited by the black witch, who already knew who Cyan was.

The black witch poisoned Cyan with a fatal potion and ran away without thinking that Cyan would survive the poisoning. On the verge of Cyan’s death, Winden, the great Mage, happened to pass by and brought him back to life. Nevertheless, the poison had caused a series of physical changes in Cyan’s body. His brown body turned into a strangely blue tint. His skin became transparent and even the white blood flowing through his body were completely visible. He was told by Winden later that even though he had survived from the poison, the damage caused by a black magic was irreversible. He would never return to what he used to look like.

After a period of recuperation, Cyan finally recovered and started to accept his new odd appearance. During his recovery, Cyan revealed to Winden the mysterious stones. The great mage was also very concerned about the consequence these dangerous stones would bring about. Not long later, the crystal ball in the citadel showed that the black witch was still in Fairhaven. Apparently, the black witch was also looking for something that he desperately wanted.

With the help of Winden, Cyan settled down in Fairhaven as librarian. The mage also offered him a wide mage robe to veil his weird appearance.

Fairhaven has the world’s largest library-maybe that is the place where they would find the answers to deal with the mysterious stones.

For years, Cyan keeps tracing the origin of the stones and the trail of the black witch. He maintains regular reporting to the League of Moonlight. His existence has been the biggest secret of the League.
